Therapy that

gets real

This is where introspection meets playfulness. Where you can tackle your patterns, build better relationships, and learn tools for lasting change.

Specialties

I work with individual adults 18+ who are looking to create a better relationship with themselves as a whole. My practice is firmly anti-racist, LGBTQIA-friendly, size-inclusive, and supportive of all consensual adult relationship styles.

Body Image

If you struggle with body image, sense of identity, or relationship with food, we’ll work together to unlearn diet culture and patterns of negative self-talk.

Unpacking Masculinity

Gendered socialization may cause you to struggle with emotional expression, communication, or interpersonal conflict. I approach the exploration of gendered behavior, traditional or non-conforming, with playfulness and understanding.

Hey,

I’m Rachel!

For me, the joy of being a therapist is that I get to work together with people to crack the mysteries of how they think, act, and feel.

You bring what you know about yourself, and I’ll bring what I learn from the latest and greatest in psychology and therapeutic approaches.

Looking for a therapist can be overwhelming, especially if you’ve never gone to therapy before.

When you connect with me as a therapist, you’re connecting with a whole person, not a disembodied notepad that occasionally goes, “Hmmm...”

Working towards your mental health goals doesn’t have to drain the life out of you. In therapy with me, we can approach challenges with playfulness and curiosity. I bring my whole self to our sessions, and hope you’ll do the same, even if it’s hard to at first.

Therapy is a collaborative process between two actual humans; we’ll either click or we won’t, and that’s totally okay.

Let’s see how we get on in a free 15-minute phone consultation.
